Clubs going up on the list of matches played:
Season 2008/09 sees Grimsby go up to sixth, 4 ahead instead of adrift of Bolton.
With Grimsby placed 6, the blades will go 6 ahead of Sunderland. It’ll take them to eleventh.
Birmingham, with a bit of lucky 13th, will swap places with Aston Villa.
Aren’t they from the same place already though?!
The other team from the Steel City go up to 15, level on games played now, with Everton. Any odds on it happening on a Wednesday?
Nottingham Forest, while themselves four games adrift of the Owles, will also pass Everton, hence the Toffees losing 2 places.
O… And let’s not forget Leyton Orient, who will no longer share 33rd place with Hull. They probably can’t be bothered since reaching the top flight for the first time.
After finally going down, they tried so hard last year, Wrexham, who were relegated on an all-time goal difference of 9, will be @ least 2 places lower on 60, if they win the Conference/BSP at the first time of asking.
The Swans and Darlo going up past them next season.
And, oh yes, 66 and all that…!

Oh, okay. Since Pompey decided to stay in the Premier$hip, they’ll have (place) 66 all for themselves!
